Privacy Policy

Playlist Mosaic Designer (the "App") is provided by SamuelJansen.com ("we"). The App is developed with privacy in mind. No user data is ever collected or stored on any external servers.

The App accesses and processes data about your Spotify account provided via the Spotify Web API. This access is limited to viewing public and private playlists you have created (including retrieving playlist metadata and album artwork) and uploading custom playlist cover images to your Spotify account.

This data is processed solely to allow you to design a custom mosaic of the album covers within your playlists, and to set that mosaic as the playlist's cover image on Spotify.

The App explicitly discloses the scope of it's Spotify data access when linking a Spotify account to the App. At any point in time, you may revoke the App's access to your information via your Spotify Apps page. Revoking access will immediately cause the App to cease processing your Spotify data, and because no data is stored externally, no personal Spotify data is retained by us.

Usage Agreement

By using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or the servers or networks connected to the App.
• Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the App.
• Download, permanently cache, rip, or redistribute any Spotify Content, including unmodified album artwork accessed via the App.
• Use the App or any content generated by the App in any way that violates Spotify's Developer Terms and Policy.

User Content & Intellectual Property

The App allows you to create mosaics using album covers from your connected Spotify playlists. You acknowledge that all album artwork, artist names, track titles, and playlist metadata are the exclusive intellectual property of Spotify or its respective licensors.

You are solely responsible for the content of your mosaics. We do not claim ownership of the album covers, and we do not control or endorse the content of your playlists. You represent and warrant that your use of the album covers is strictly for personal, non-commercial use in customizing your playlist imagery. You acknowledge that your use of album covers must comply with the terms and conditions imposed by Spotify.

Indemnification & Third-Party Beneficiary

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or your breach of these terms. We are solely responsible for the App and disclaim any liability on the part of Spotify.

You acknowledge and agree that Spotify is a third-party beneficiary of this End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy, and upon your acceptance of these terms, Spotify will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement directly against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
